AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardised quality management system for the aerospace industry where quality and reliability are essential for safety and performance. Our continued registration to AS9100 underpins the company’s quality management principles while the group’s statistical approach to process improvement allows us to test our performance standards with the utmost rigour. To meet the requirements of AS9100, KMF operates fully documented quality control procedures and adheres to a detailed quality manual. Quality management systems help to reduce risks, ensure consistency and provide a reliable framework for the whole supply chain.

To support these quality standards and others, KMF operates dedicated quality teams made up of managers, engineers and technicians to ensure full compliance with strict standards. The teams are responsible for quality assurance and inspection throughout the design, production and assembly process.

In-house training programmes at our purpose-built KMF Training Centre reinforce our commitment to quality. Courses are designed to improve operator process knowledge and ensure the highest quality standards throughout our business.

As evidence of its high standards, the company boasts an array of accreditations and approvals. All ISO standards include a planning structure, interim control points, and continuous improvement built-in. The company is also committed to investing in the latest technology and equipment to ensure the most rigorous quality standards are achieved.

KMF Group’s BSI Accreditation Certificates cover precision sheet metal components and enclosures for the electronics and allied industries. Certified processes include CNC punching, laser cutting, metal forming, inserting, welding, deburring, wet and powder coating and integrated electromechanical assembly.
