Despite stiff competition from across the UK, KMF Group Ltd were crowned National Champion in the 2022 Apprentice Awards. KMF came out on top after previously winning top spot in the large employer category at the West Midlands regional awards, and also being highly commended for Recruitment Excellence.

The 19th National Apprenticeship Awards were presented by TV personality Steph McGovern in a ceremony at the Londoner Hotel. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to highlight business and individual success in apprenticeships. Particularly poignant this year, given the challenges many employers and apprentices have faced during the pandemic. The awards attract over 950 entries nationally from different sectors including: public sectors, construction, health, IT, science and digital. The awards are considered to be the most important award in the UK for companies committed to training and development.

Gareth Higgins MBE Managing Director KMF said: "Although many apprentices add value to our business within the first few months of employment, the benefit of apprenticeships is seen over many years, they are the future leaders of KMF. We provide the best award-winning in-house apprenticeship training to enable us to continue to invest in skills and new technology so that young people can continue to develop their careers with us. We were delighted to receive the British Army Award for the Large Employer and highly commended for recruitment excellence, it is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our training team."
