KMF Precision Sheet Metal provides its current employees with opportunities for continuous improvement and career development. The company does this through regular in-house training sessions for staff and through a more formal Adult Apprenticeship Programme, which is available for existing employees over the age of 25 years.
There are currently more than a dozen adult KMF Group employees undertaking our Adult Apprenticeship Programme which is aimed at not only educating staff and improving their skills but also at developing operational performance.
The Adult Apprenticeship Programme lasts for 18 months and encourages those taking part to gain up to a total of five qualifications in areas linked to their current roles within the company.
Staff on the course can gain expertise and qualifications in specific areas of operation within the KMF workplace such as in welding, paint processes, metal forming and also in related managerial responsibilities.
Qualifications are not the only objectives of the Adult Apprenticeship Programme at KMF; it also helps to instil self-confidence, social experience, leadership and team building skills as well as a greater understanding of the business world and the technical, commercial and industrial environment.
