KMF is the market leader in sheet metal fabrication and precision engineering and the company is committed to quality, investment and innovation in subcontract metal manufacturing and engineering across a broad range of industry sectors.
KMF has grown into one of the largest and most successful sheet metal manufacturing and engineering plants with factories in the UK and Slovakia.
And with 500 full-time staff, KMF is committed to delivering the highest levels of service to our expanding customer base which ranges from blue chip companies to sole traders.
Continuous improvement of our workforce is one of the driving forces behind the success of the business with skills training of employees an essential ingredient in elevating KMF above other UK and European providers.
KMF is passionate about both its current and future workforce and offers in-house training and apprenticeships to existing employees as well as those wishing to join this expanding company.
KMF has always worked closely with schools to try and promote the exciting opportunities available to young people if they choose to enter a career in engineering. KMF decided to take this a step further by launching the KMF Young Engineer of The Year (YEOTY) initiative.
Over many years YEOTY has reached more than 22,000 students, worked with over 25 high schools and, through KMF and local sponsors, invested over £650,000 in encouraging young people to take up a career engineering and STEM projects.
Although the task changes annually, the aim remains the same: to capture the imagination of our young people and fire their enthusiasm towards careers in STEM-related subjects or apprenticeships.
At KMF, we believe our workforce is our greatest asset and understand that our future growth is determined by the skill and enthusiasm of our employees. From manufacturing roles in our factory to more traditional office duties, our employees are hard-working, friendly and driven.
