BSI is one of the most respected and reputable management systems certification bodies in the world and is accredited itself by many national agencies including the American National Standards Institute, China National Accreditation Service, Japan Accreditation Board and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
The four BSI accreditations that KMF currently maintains are:
AS 9100 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System for the aerospace industry operated by the International Aerospace Quality Group. Standards cover quality assurance in design, development, production, installation, and servicing; the maintenance, repair and overhaul of parts; the stockholding and distribution of aerospace /defence parts.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System standard applicable to all sizes of business and a business improvement tool. ISO 9001 Quality Management certification help firms to improve and streamline operations, reduce costs and demonstrate strong and effective corporate governance.
ISO 14001 is aimed at improving environmental performance, and the certificate can help firms deliver regulatory compliance as well as meet supplier requirements.
