KMF (Precision Sheet Metal) supports many activities in its local community so, when the Douglas MacMillan Hospice asked to make a presentation to its employees, the Newcastle under Lyme business was only too happy to open its doors to the charity.
When a representative of the Douglas MacMillan Hospice charity visited KMF (Precision Sheet Metal) recently to promote the activities of the Hospice, and participation in its fundraising lottery, he was met with a level of enthusiasm that saw over 100 people sign up to make regular contributions on the day.
Whether it was the thought of the £3,500 weekly prize fund or, more likely, the generosity of the employees of the Newcastle under Lyme-based precision sheet metal manufacturer, the hospice is now benefiting from regular additional funds.- And, as the saying goes, you have to be in it to win it and not long after the signing session Keith Billington received a cheque for £2,000 after scooping the weekly jackpot.
"We are extremely pleased with the response that the people at KMF have given to supporting the hospice," says Gareth Higgins, KMF's Managing Director. "The generosity of all of those concerned confirms theirs, and the company's, commitment to supporting local good causes."
