Wedding bells ring after Lottery success

Back to news

KMF employee, Neil Chillington is celebrating after winning his first ever prize of £2000 in the Dougie Mac Lottery last Friday.

Neil has contributed weekly to the Dougie Mac lottery since 2011, not just for the chance of winning every week, but also to raise vital funds for the Hospice.

Neil commented: "I think it is really important to help this wonderful local charity in any way you can. The Hospice needs support from the local community to provide the service it does."

"We all know somebody who has been affected by cancer and we are lucky to have the Dougie Mac locally. They do a fantastic job."

"The Lottery is a great way of supporting the Hospice. I've been a member since 2011, and the money is taken via payroll, directly out of my wages, so I don't even miss it."

Neil is due to marry fiancé Barbara in September this year. The Lottery winnings will go towards the dress, and he also plans to give some back to the charity.

KMF support the Hospice as much as possible, and many staff members enjoy the lottery in the same way as Neil. It is easy to sign up too. Dougie Mac Lottery staff will come out to see you and are always on hand to help if you need them.
