KMF zeros in on aerospace

Back to news

Following the opening of KMF Advanced Manufacturing Solutions, KMF (Precision Sheet Metal) is intensifying its efforts to develop market share in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Graham Jackson's appointment as Business Development Manager, with a particular focus on the aerospace and defence markets, will allow KMF to tap into his experience.

Graham has worked for some of the leading aerospace/defence companies, including Airbus, Boeing, BAE Systems and Ferranti.

Graham's understanding of the engineering needs of customers in the aerospace sector, when combined with KMF's new approach to this market segment, create an innovative path to the aerospace and defence subcontract sector.

"KMF's desire to move into new strategic markets, especially high-end, high-value, component and assembly work is backed by its confidence to invest in the people, equipment and facilities needed to meet the strict criteria set down by these customers," said Graham Jackson.

"A significant advantage with KMF is that the company is bringing a more commercial and driven response to the needs of these markets. KMFs not encumbered by historical baggage and this will allow fresh ideas and solutions to flourish. I am finding that customers see this as a refreshing change."
