KMF (Precision Sheet Metal)'s commitment to developing its staff to fulfil new and challenging roles has seen the appointment of Gary Sutton as the company's UK Quality Manager.
With 15 years' experience of working within KMF, most latterly as a continuous improvement engineer Gary Sutton is well versed with the company, its customers and procedures.
In his previous role he was tasked with driving the improvement culture within KMF. Among the tasks he was asked to undertake were a six-month secondment to assist in the setting up of the quality system for the company's manufacturing facility in Slovakia.
This involved writing the quality management system and ensuring accreditation to ISO9001. Upon completion of this project Gary moved across to the quality department as a Quality Engineer, before taking up his current role as UK Quality Manager.
His new position will involve him working across all of KMF's manufacturing facilities, ensuring that the company's processes are robust and delivering to customers' expectations.
"Overall, I see this new position as an improvement role with a focus on developing the KMF systems to guarantee excellent service to all of our customers. Key to this will be my ability to work both internally and externally to deliver a clear proactive team approach to quality improvement. Every element of the manufacturing process will be looked at to support our customer through engineered dynamic solutions."
As UK Quality Manager Gary will be instrumental in developing KMFs established a reputation for the production of consistently high-quality products.
